Iranian authorities have expanded the national mobilization campaign known as Janfada. The project seeks to recruit civilians into the state security apparatus amid tensions with Israel and the United States.
The Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps is organizing training posts in central squares across various cities. Volunteers receive instruction on handling pistols and assault rifles under the supervision of the Basij militia.
Nightly events and armed exercises are taking place in capitals such as Tehran, Shiraz, and Mashhad. The stated goal is to occupy at least one main square in each of Iran's 31 provinces to train men and women of various ages.
Residents report the constant presence of booths with live ammunition and shooting demonstrations in public spaces. The initiative focuses on preparing the population to defend government values and face external or internal threats.
The rise in geopolitical instability in the Middle East is increasing risk perception in global markets. This scenario tends to pressure the dollar exchange rate and influence the volatility of reserve assets like Bitcoin.
