The nation renews the House and part of the Senate as concerns grow that the government may dispute the outcome if defeated.

American voters head to the polls this Tuesday to renew the House of Representatives and one-third of the Senate. The mood across the country is tense due to fears that President Donald Trump and his most radical wing might reject the results if they lose.

Georgia remains a central point of focus. Secretary of State Brad Raffensperger has bolstered local election security with requirements for identification and paper ballots after facing direct pressure from the government in 2020.

The United States Supreme Court rejected an appeal from the Department of Justice that sought to invalidate 20,000 votes in California. The government claimed the voters were foreigners registered illegally but the court denied the emergency injunction without providing an explanation.

The Republican Party is facing difficulties in the polls and risks losing control of the House. The battle for the Senate also remains without a clear favorite which intensifies the political dispute and legal clashes in key states.

Election officials state they are prepared to respond to potential challenges regarding the vote count. The voting process follows state rules with oversight systems designed to ensure the integrity of the citizens' choice.
