ADM Net Income Quadruples to $908 Million
Second-quarter results beat previous year figures driven by higher oilseed processing margins
American company ADM reported a net income of 908 million dollars for the second fiscal quarter of 2026. This figure marks a significant jump from the 217 million dollars recorded during the same period last year.
Earnings per share reached 1.87 dollars. On an adjusted basis, earnings per share hit 1.84 dollars, nearly double the result from the second quarter of 2025.
Quarterly revenue totaled 22.68 billion dollars. EBIT grew by 290% year-over-year, reaching 1.09 billion dollars for the period.
The agricultural services and oilseeds segment was the primary driver of the balance sheet. Operating profit for this division rose 129%, fueled by increased processing margins and global demand for soybean meal.
Crushing operations saw a gain of 330 million dollars compared to the previous year. The company also highlighted the full resumption of its export terminal in Barcarena, Pará, and increased soybean shipments from South America.
Given these results, ADM revised its outlook for the year. The adjusted earnings per share estimate for 2026 was raised to a range between 5.15 and 5.60 dollars.
