Bitcoin began the third week of October trading near the $82,000 mark. The crypto market is tracking a recovery attempt in global stock exchanges following losses recorded last week.

Investor attention is turning to third-quarter earnings from major corporations. About 15% of S&P 500 companies are set to release their financial figures in the coming days. The schedule includes SpaceX on Tuesday and both Tesla and Meta on Wednesday.

Tech stock performance remains under close scrutiny following recent heavy selling pressure. The S&P 500 index closed last Friday with a weekly decline of 2%. This negative trend originated in South Korean markets and spread to other Asian exchanges before impacting American stocks.

Concerns regarding artificial intelligence spending and associated debt obligations have pressured the tech sector. In South Korea, semiconductor manufacturing competition with China worsened the outlook. Despite rumors of financial crises circulating on social media, S&P 500 futures rose 0.7% early this week.

Analysts project that Bitcoin may retest support around the $80,000 level. The dynamic between corporate results and global risk appetite is setting the pace for current trading. The market is seeking stability while assessing the impact of macroeconomic data and the evolution of artificial intelligence in finance.
