Apple Begins Testing AI Features on Apple Watch
New audio tools allow users to transcribe and review recent conversations directly on the watch.
Apple has launched the testing phase for artificial intelligence technology on the Apple Watch. The update is currently available to developers running the iOS 27.3 system.
The feature set includes four main functions for Series 12 users. These include the identification of important sounds and music recognition via Shazam.
Conversational tools allow users to review what was said in the last 15 seconds. The Live Rewind feature displays text snippets on the watch screen after the user presses the digital crown.
The system also offers the option to save these transcripts in the Siri app. Users can request clarifications regarding technical terms or information mentioned during the recorded dialogue.
The company has included visual and audio alerts while using the audio functions. The goal is to inform people nearby about data capture during the interaction.
