The Hong Kong government has named the Nasdaq-listed Solana Company as a strategic partner. This decision is part of an official program designed to attract companies that drive the city's economic development.
Solana Company was the only blockchain infrastructure organization selected by the Office for Attracting Strategic Enterprises in 2026. The group is part of a set of 18 new companies added to the initiative, bringing the total to 142 partner organizations.
This designation grants the firm a direct channel to government agencies and local regulators. The support includes streamlined paths for hiring foreign talent and connections with institutional partners in the region.
The company intends to establish validator operations in Hong Kong under the Pacific Backbone project. This initiative seeks to build a low-latency blockchain infrastructure network across the Asia-Pacific region.
Beyond infrastructure, the company provides consulting services to financial institutions regarding the adoption of digital assets. The organization also maintains holdings in SOL as part of its treasury strategy.
