Investigation Identifies $4 Million USDT Loss on TRON Network
TRON network data reveals suspicious activity across 365 addresses
An investigation has identified the loss of $4 million in USDT on the TRON network. The funds were drained from 365 distinct addresses between October 5 and November 4.
Data shows that 89 of these addresses lost only TRX tokens. Only one theft case has been confirmed as belonging to an iPhone user who publicly disclosed the incident.
Technical analysis connected 43 collector wallets through funding flows used to pay transaction fees. While there is a clear financial network, proof that a single operator controls the entire scheme has not yet been established.
Additional reports from the Security Alliance point to losses of $127,000 in Trust Wallet and Uniswap accounts. Security research reveals that spyware variants like DarkSword have the capability to harvest data from digital wallets.
Most of the affected devices remain officially unidentified. The use of zero-click iOS exploits has been under constant monitoring by cybersecurity experts.
