Iran's Revolutionary Guard Expands Underground Military Complexes
Military organization moves missile and drone production lines to bomb-proof facilities
Iran's Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps has announced the construction of underground military complexes. These structures allow for the manufacturing and storage of weaponry even under intense bombardment.
Spokesperson Hossein Mohebbi stated that missile and drone production lines have been moved underground. The goal is to maintain active combat capabilities while adversaries believe Iranian stockpiles are in decline.
The military group also revealed breakthroughs in stealth technology to overcome air defense systems. According to the command, current equipment was developed with domestic expertise and does not rely on reverse engineering of captured materials.
Reports indicate that Iran has caused billions of dollars in damage to United States bases and infrastructure in the Gulf during previous confrontations. The country has also removed restrictions on the range of its missiles.
The conflict scenario has persisted since the start of hostilities in February. The closure of the Strait of Hormuz has triggered a global energy crisis and mediation efforts are underway to end the tensions.
