Tether has announced its participation as a strategic investor in the seed extension round for AIsa. This capital injection pushes the artificial intelligence startup's total funding past the $9 million mark.

HIVEN also joined the investment round. The firm joins a group that already included Alibaba, Tribe Capital, Sumitomo Corporation, Draper Associates, and Saison Capital.

AIsa develops infrastructure focused on autonomous agents for the corporate sector. The goal is to enable these systems to discover, access, and pay for global resources while maintaining governance over permissions and spending.

The startup aims to solve fragmentation issues in billing and integration systems for artificial intelligence. Its platform centralizes access to models, APIs, and software tools within a network of monitored transactions and resources.

Tether's involvement follows the company's record of significant profits in recent quarters. The stablecoin issuer's financial performance has been primarily supported by yields from its portfolio of United States Treasury bills.
