A jet-powered drone strike hit the main railway station in the central Ukrainian city of Dnipro. Local authorities confirmed the death of at least 14 people and injuries to 14 others, including an 11-year-old child.

The projectile struck the platform just as a passenger train bound for Zaporizhzhia was stationed at the site. Dnipro Mayor Borys Filatov described the episode as a tragedy involving a civilian electric transport vehicle.

Footage released by rescue services shows severe damage to the station structure and shattered windows on the train cars. Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky requested the implementation of new international sanctions against Russia in response to the event.

On another front, a missile attack in Chernihiv resulted in the death of two 15-year-old girls. The country faces an escalation of violence while attempting to maintain a local ceasefire in the occupied city of Oleshky.
