Qatari government pursues a diplomatic deal to prevent military escalation following US elections.

The government of Qatar continues its mediation efforts between Washington and Tehran. The primary goal is to prevent the regional conflict from spiraling out of control.

The Qatari Prime Minister stated that the United States remains interested in a diplomatic solution. He noted that progress has been made and expressed confidence in the possibility of reaching an understanding.

There were reports regarding two missiles landing on Qeshm Island. There are no official confirmations regarding damage caused by this incident at this time.

The geopolitical landscape is being closely monitored due to the expectation of military actions following the US midterm elections. Iran has threatened to respond to any potential attacks by targeting American and Israeli assets in neighboring countries.

Since September, Iran has proposed a seven-day plan to normalize relations. The proposal includes ending the blockade on Iranian ports and releasing frozen assets in exchange for the reopening of the Strait of Hormuz.
