Nvidia has confirmed a $3 billion investment in Meta. This contribution comes as the social media giant seeks to raise $95 billion to bolster its artificial intelligence infrastructure.
Meta's fundraising plan will be divided into stages. The company intends to secure $35 billion through initial public stock offerings. Subsequently, the firm plans to raise another $60 billion through an at-the-market offering program.
Beyond Nvidia, companies such as Advanced Micro Devices and Broadcom have shown interest in the operation. This group of tech giants could acquire up to $5 billion in Meta shares throughout the offering process.
The transactions are expected to extend until early next year. The move reflects the companies' strategy to consolidate partnerships to support the rapid growth in demand for data processing and AI.
The massive capital flow into the technology sector reinforces liquidity in risk assets and may increase volatility in digital currency and global stock markets.
