Foxconn plans to capture a 50% share of the global AI server market within the next two years. Chairman Young Liu stated that the company currently holds approximately 40% of the segment.
The executive expects AI infrastructure to account for 60% to 65% of the organization's total revenue over the next five years. Production capacity is fully booked for the next eighteen months due to persistent demand.
The expansion strategy includes growing the company's manufacturing presence in the United States. The firm intends to move up the supply chain to serve model developers and cloud service providers with greater agility.
Although production costs on American soil are higher, the company will prioritize items with superior margins. The initial focus centers on server racks and essential equipment for data processing centers.
Liu emphasized the need for caution in managing investments to avoid financial excess. The company maintains strict control over spending while seeking to scale global production of advanced technology.
