Anthropic Prepares for Historic Stock Market Debut

Anthropic has revealed details regarding its plan to go public. The creator of the Claude chatbot will be the first company focused exclusively on artificial intelligence to launch an initial public offering. The listing will take place on the Nasdaq under the ticker symbol ANT.

The expected market value for the debut exceeds the 1.8 trillion dollar mark reached by SpaceX. The company has not yet finalized the number of shares or the price range. This move comes in a landscape where the technology sector has invested more than 1 trillion dollars in infrastructure and data models over the past year.

Founded five years ago by Dario Amodei, Daniela Amodei, and five other partners, the company made its intention to list shares official in June. OpenAI, its main competitor in the sector, has also expressed plans to follow the same path early next year. The industry faces growing challenges related to cybersecurity and the autonomous operation of its digital agents.
