Tron Treasury, which is listed on Nasdaq, has announced a $200 million share offering aimed exclusively at acquiring TRX tokens. The corporate treasury already holds about 237 million in its own assets and plans scheduled daily purchases.
The model replicates MicroStrategy’s approach with bitcoin, but focuses on the Tron ecosystem. The stock listing provides access to low-cost capital for ongoing accumulation, while the token serves as a store of value and a staking asset.
Corporate treasury strategies built around altcoins are gaining traction among institutional investors. Success depends on sustained appreciation of TRX and on market liquidity to support the volume of recurring purchases.
