Consumer inflation perception in the euro area rose to 3.6% in September. The previous figure recorded in August was 3.5%. Expectations for the next twelve months also advanced from 3.0% to 3.1%.
The long-term outlook remained stable. Inflation projections for three years held at 2.9%. For the five-year horizon, the index stayed at 2.5%. Uncertainty regarding future prices remains above the levels observed before the conflict in the Middle East.

Consumers expect nominal income growth of 1.1% for the coming year. Predicted nominal spending also saw a slight increase, moving from 3.6% to 3.7%. Expectations for mortgage interest rates remained unchanged compared to the previous month.
