Bombings hit residential areas near the capital Sanaa and hampered rescue efforts.

A series of airstrikes led by the Saudi coalition has resulted in the deaths of at least 33 people in Yemen. The bombardment occurred near the capital Sanaa and struck residential villages.

Local health authorities confirmed that more than 39 people were injured during the attacks. Reports show that the strikes destroyed buildings and blocked access routes for rescue teams.

A Houthi military spokesperson stated that there were more than 100 airstrikes and missile launches across several provinces in the last 24 hours. The total number of air operations since the start of the conflict escalation has reached 4,369.

Search operations were interrupted several times by the constant presence of warplanes flying over the region. Rescuers reported that many victims remain under the rubble due to the ongoing military offensives.

Geopolitical instability in the Middle East increases risk aversion in global markets and may pressure oil prices and the dollar as a safe-haven currency.
