Palantir Commercial Revenue Surpasses US Government Sector

Palantir beat Wall Street estimates in the third quarter by recording expressive growth in its commercial revenue within the United States. For the first time in the company's history, revenue from private firms surpassed government contracts.

The commercial segment reached $984 million while government revenue totaled $953 million. This shift represents a 148% increase in the corporate division compared to the previous year. Total company revenue exceeded the $2 billion mark during the period.

Net income saw a significant jump by more than doubling from $476 million to $1.13 billion. The result equals 44 cents per share. The company raised its annual projections and expects US commercial revenue to exceed $3.56 billion.

CEO Alex Karp highlighted that this growth occurs even without a traditional sales team. The company projects reaching approximately $8.53 billion in total revenue for 2026. The executive also reinforced the need for debates regarding regulation and data sovereignty in the technology sector.

The accelerated adoption of artificial intelligence tools by private companies drove these numbers. Palantir maintains an expansion trajectory where US commercial revenue has quintupled over the last two years.
