Major global companies are reporting the first concrete financial gains from investments in artificial intelligence. Market focus has shifted from mere expectation to proven returns in the third quarter of 2026.
The banking sector highlights the impact of this transition. Santander reported that technology initiatives generated 194 million euros in business value during the first nine months of the year. The institution uses tools to automate low-value tasks and allow employees to focus on more productive activities.
In the pharmaceutical sector, Novartis also points to tangible benefits in its balance sheet. The company recorded a core operating income of 6.04 billion dollars, a 10% increase compared to the previous year. Company leadership states that technology is already contributing to productivity in marketing and sales areas.
Standard Chartered reinforces the trend by noting the presence of artificial intelligence in various internal processes. The bank posted a 14% growth in operating income for the period. This movement follows a global increase in corporate spending on technological infrastructure, which reached 581.7 billion dollars in 2025.
The consolidation of real profits from technology may reduce the risk premium for companies in the sector. This increases demand for tech assets and impacts global dollar liquidity.
