The European Securities and Markets Authority has updated its official registry of crypto asset service providers. This move added nine new entities to the system under MiCA rules. Among the names included are the exchange BingX and the lending platform YouHodler.
The Austrian unit of BingX, known as MEGE zweite, obtained the necessary authorization to operate in the bloc. Meanwhile, the Italian subsidiary of YouHodler received permission to conduct custody and order execution activities. The total registry of unique providers has reached 375 companies.
The banking group Santander also made an appearance in the recent update with the inclusion of Openbank Deutschland. Other cooperative financial institutions from Germany were integrated into the list of regulated providers. The list of entities operating in non-compliance rose to 178 entries.
The MiCA regulation establishes a unified legal framework for the digital asset market in the European Union. Corporate compliance aims to provide greater operational clarity within the European Economic Area. The registry of electronic money tokens remained stable with 50 entries.
