Kalshi has implemented a tri-party lending structure in partnership with BitGo. The system allows Kalshi Prime clients to use Bitcoin and other digital assets as collateral to fund margins for perpetual futures contracts.

Loans are issued by Kalshi Katalyst and secured by assets held at BitGo Bank & Trust. The list of accepted collateral includes Bitcoin, Ethereum, and stablecoins that meet the criteria of the GENIUS Act. The company plans to integrate additional custodians into the network in the future.

This initiative aims to attract traders who operate on offshore platforms and large crypto holders seeking liquidity without selling their reserves. Demand also includes companies that use dollar-pegged stablecoins for their daily operations.

Simultaneously, Kalshi has reached a distribution agreement with Webull. Starting in November, the brokerage's clients will have access to CFTC-regulated perpetual contracts. The service will be rolled out gradually to users approved for futures trading.

The move reinforces Kalshi's competition with blockchain-based rivals for leadership in the regulated derivatives market in the United States. The strategy seeks to provide a secure alternative for investors who prefer to keep their capital in digital assets.
