The British fintech sees a 53% value jump in under a year following global expansion and new banking licenses.

British fintech Revolut has completed a secondary share sale that pushed its market valuation to $115 billion. This figure marks a 53% increase compared to the round held in November 2025 when the company was valued at $75 billion.

The transaction allowed existing shareholders, including employees, to sell their stakes to new investors. The process was led by major financial market players such as Coatue, Glade Brook Capital Partners, and Durable Capital Partners.

Recent financial performance has fueled the brand's valuation. In 2025, Revolut's revenue rose 46% to reach $6 billion. Pre-tax profit hit $2.3 billion, representing a 38% margin for the business.

International expansion was a fundamental pillar for these results. The company secured banking licenses in several countries across Europe and Latin America while receiving conditional approval to operate in the United States. Recently, the firm also received clearance from the Central Bank of Argentina to acquire Banco Cetelem.

CEO Nik Storonsky emphasized that the employee participation culture is central to the fintech's strategy. The organization's current goal is to reach 100 million customers served globally.
