Bitcoin encountered a significant selling barrier at the $83,000 level. The cryptocurrency pulled back to the $82,000 range after failing to sustain the bullish momentum seen earlier in the day.

This movement occurs amid a divergence between the digital asset market and global exchanges. While the Nasdaq index and South Korea's KOSPI posted significant gains, Bitcoin did not keep pace with the recovery in tech stocks.

Yields on 10-year and 30-year U.S. Treasury bonds rose to 5.13% and 5.46% respectively. The market is now awaiting corporate earnings reports from giants like Tesla and Meta to define the next short-term trend.

Analysts note that stability in the bond market is crucial for Bitcoin's performance. Continued selling pressure on stocks could threaten the $80,000 support level if the deleveraging process intensifies.

Exchange data shows a concentration of sell-side liquidity above $83,000. This volume of orders acts as an immediate obstacle for new attempts at price appreciation for the asset.
