Cryptocurrency exchange CoinDCX stated that no users will suffer financial losses following the identification of suspicious transfers. The movement involved approximately 16 million dollars in digital assets. The company denies that a new breach of its security systems occurred.

Blockchain analysts pointed out that the transactions originated from addresses the exchange claims to have abandoned after an attack in July 2025. CoinDCX maintains that those addresses were compromised at that time and no longer have any connection to current operations. The platform reinforced that client funds remain protected by its own reserves.

Independent investigators contest the company's official version. They allege that a deposit address belonging to the exchange remained in use by a liquidity provider months after the original incident. The address reportedly transferred user deposits to the platform's public wallet and received funds for network fees.

CoinDCX Chief Executive Sumit Gupta acknowledged that the company is investigating the information raised by experts. He promised to release an update on the case soon. The company previously faced a 44 million dollar loss in an earlier security episode.

Data from an asset recovery platform suggests that addresses listed in the CoinDCX proof of reserves sent funds to the wallet under suspicion. The exchange provided no additional details regarding the origin of the recent movements. The market awaits formal clarification on the integrity of the cited wallets.
